On July 31, 2018, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan published a decision on the changes in the "Amounts of the state fee for the registration of mobile devices for 2018". A state fee of 20 manats will be applied to mobile devices that do not have a recording function and do not support internet access. A state fee of 20 manats will be applied to devices whose brand, model and market price are not listed in the catalog on the official website of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the time of registration. In other cases, the state fee for individuals who purchase a mobile device for personal use is determined as follows:
- If the market price of the device is up to 100 dollars - 30 manats
- If the market price of the device is in the range of 101-200 dollars - 50 manats
- If the market price of the device is in the range of 201-400 dollars - 60 manats
- If the market price of the device is in the range of 401-700 dollars - 70 manats
- If the market price of the device is in the range of 701-1000 dollars - 100 manats
- If the market price of the device is in the range of 1001 dollars and more - 150 manats
