Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification – is an entry-level certification aimed at Linux / Unix users. RHCSA status demonstrates that you have the knowledge and skills required to install, configure, and connect Red Hat Enterprise Linux workstations to your existing network environment. The RHCSA Prep Program is the fastest way to get a basic understanding of Linux.
Requirements:
An exam is required to obtain RHCSA status. A reminder that you cannot now obtain the next Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification without passing the current version of RHCSA.
Description
RHCSA exam candidates without assistance:
• They should understand and use the necessary tools;
• They had to manage working systems;
• They had to perform manual configuration of local repositories;
• They should have created and configured file systems;
• Must deploy, configure and maintain systems;
• Manage users and groups;
• They must manage security.
Duration of the exam: approximately 3 working hours
The RHCSA exam is a completely practical exam where the candidate must demonstrate basic system building skills.
To pass the Red Hat Certified System Administrator exam, you must meet the following criteria:
• Successfully solve all problems in Part I (all assignments are mandatory);
• A score of 70% or higher in Part II.
The results are processed by the US company Red Hat Global Learning Services. The results are provided to the candidates by e-mail within three working days from the date of examination.

• Linux administrators who received certification status from a previous version and want to upgrade.
Preliminary preparation:
Experience in the practical use of Linux OS and network technologies based on it (setting up a network, managing printing devices, software packages, user accounts, etc.);
Those who wish to take the Red Hat Certified System Administrator Lab exam are advised to consider taking the following exam preparation courses:
• RH124 Red Hat System Administration Unit I;
• RH134 Red Hat System Administration Unit II.
or
• RH199 RHCSA Accelerated Preparation Course.
This is not a requirement, but this step will increase your chances of passing the exam.
